Amy and Jessica Co-Founded Aerial Whimsy in 2023.
In 2026 Sandra Joined Amy in Ownership of Aerial Whimsy and continues to help us grow!
Amy has been training and studying aerial arts since 2013, and Sandra learned with both Amy and Jessica and got her own certification in 2022. Both have multiple certifications and years of experience teaching multiple disciplines.
Amy Hardison
Amy fell in love with aerial silks in 2013, but has been a dancer and athlete most of her life. She got her AA degree in Dance from Fresno City College, and her BA degree in Theatre Arts with a Dance Emphasis from Fresno State. She got her first aerial dance fitness certification in 2015 from Aerial Arts of America in silks, hoop, and hammock/sling; she then went on to get a beginning, intermediate, and advanced certification from Aerial Physique in 2017-2022.
Sandra Meachum
Sandra has been an avid exercise enthusiast her entire life! She did ballet and competitive artistic roller skating growing up. With her AFFA / ACE & REBOK certifications, she taught Aerobics, Step Aerobics, and various fitness classes for 25 plus years. Sandra began learning Aerial Silks in 2017 and Aerial Hoop in 2019. She dedicated herself to becoming proficient at both and pursued her certifications in silks from Aerial Physique in 2022 and Hoop from Xpert Fitness in 2023.
Jessica White
Jessica began dancing through Clovis High School’s Dance Reparatory program and immediately fell in love with the movement arts. She went on to get her BA in Theatre Arts with a Dance Emphasis from Fresno State University in 2014, and has been teaching since 2012. In 2017, Jessica took Amy up on her offer to try aerial, and has been hooked ever since! Jessica has completed both the beginning and intermediate level certifications from Aerial Physique.
Dani Melella
Dani has a love of nature and rock climbing! That love of climbing extended to aerial when she began her journey on the silks in 2021 and discovered her passion for the aerial arts. She trained under Jessica, Amy, and Sandra in 2024-2025. She received her teachers certification under Paper Doll Militia to teach aerial silks.
Chloe Long
Chloe has been involved in different forms of dance and gymnastics since she was young. She discovered aerial silks in 2019. In 2020 she began classes with Jessica. She has been a student of Jessica and Amy ever since! She is training under Sandra and Amy, who are helping her throughout the process of earning her certification under Aerial Physique’s teacher training program.
